It's been a while since there has been a 'star' visitor to Robin Hood Airport, but I think today's guest has more than made up for the wait.

The first Ilyushin IL76 ever to grace the runway at DSA, RA-76530 belongs to the Russian cargo carrier Volga-Dnepr Airlines and is an IL76TD-90VD version; these are airframes that have been re-engined with Aviadvigatel PS90 turbofans to meet European noise limits.
