Gamston - a Sunday morning miscellany.

Retford Airport (Gamston) is situated about 2 miles south of Retford and is a busy general aviation airfield. As well as the aeronautical delights to be seen, there is a rather good cafe-bar, 'The Apron', on site. (www.theapron.co.uk)

You can't do better than sitting in the Apron's small viewing area on a sunny Sunday morning, with coffee, a freshly-made bacon sandwich or 'full English' breakfast, watching and photographing the aeroplanes.
