Doncaster-Sheffield - 02/06/14

June 2nd was a day many aviation enthusiasts had been anticipating as Avro Vulcan XH558/G-VULC, took to the air once again on its first flight following major maintenance. A successful 90-minute sortie just after lunch was followed later in the afternoon by a second 90-minute flight, and from all reports everything went smoothly. Good news!
