Gamston - 07/07/13

After the previous day's high noise, high energy aviation at Waddington, it was nice to get back to somewhat quieter aircraft! Highlight of a brief morning trip to Gamston (apart, of course, from the bacon baguette at 'The Apron') was the visit of air ambulance G-ESCI, an MD Helicopters MD900 Explorer, for refuelling.

It was also nice to capture Gamston resident G-LMLV in pixels at last - this aircraft is a Dyn'Aero MCR01 Club and had, thus far, evaded my lens. Other aircraft to make it onto the memory card were Robinson R44 G-OTJS, Mooney M20K G-BYEE and a classic piston-engined single in the shape of Piper PA24 Comanche G-BYTI.
