Northolt Nightshoot - 12/04/12

My first visit to one of RAF Northolt's regular 'nightshoots' and an opportunity to practice photography in the dark.

Eurocopter EC145 G-MPSC of the Metropolitan Police’s Air Support Unit based at Lippets Hill in Essex.

Irish Air Corps AgustaWestland AW139 279 from 301 Sqn at Baldonnel/Casement.

It was nice to be able to get close to Netherlands Government Fokker 70 PH-KBX. I’ve only ever seen it before in the distance at Amsterdam Schiphol.

DBD AlphaJet E141/120-NF from the French Air Force’s ETO 01.008 at Cazaux.

Also from the French Air Force, Eurocopter AS555AN Fennec 5468/VX of EH 03.067 at Villacoublay.

Based aircraft on display were 32(TR) Sqn’s BAe 146-100 CC2 and Agusta A109E ZR322.
